Protecting Human Rights without a Bill of Rights

The Board of ANZACC Midwest would like to invite members and friends to a lecture by International Jurist-in-Residence Chief Justice Robert S. French.

Justice Robert Shenton French is the current Chief Justice of Australia. Prior to his appointment in 2008, Justice French was judge of the Federal Court of Australia, a permanent non-resident member of the Supreme Court of Fiji, and an additional judge of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory. He has written extensively on a range of issues including administrative justice, cooperative federalism, law reform, indigenous rights, law and ethics, and competition law. In 1998, he was honored as Western Australian Citizen of the Year.
